So I have posted a welcome on the IFCA website and I saked about joining a race team. GTDon gave me this link. I really love to race but cannot race anymore on these public xbox races anymore due to "kids" and their lack of skill. Now I'm not Mr tony stewart myself but I do love to race clean and fun. I figure that being part of a team will help me become better with help from teammates who share the same love for the sport.

I am also on the VTCC website as well. This way I can get myself out their faster and meet lots of people who love to race.

welcome seminole. The lack of "racing" in the public hoppers is what brought me to the IFCA and eventually AAR. It is a completely different experience to race in an organized and clean race. I can say that it has made the game fun again for me. Well, Im sure that Qbert will pm you regarding your app (if you havent spoken to him already). I do have one question though...please tell me your not a FSU fan/alum?

Thanks everyone for the welcome. I will send out some FR as soon as I get back from the beach down here in sunny FL. Just wondering if there is a list of cars I should have on hand. I a big RWD nut and stick with the M3's and Mercedes alot but I am willing to learn new wheels.

Welcome. We used to race primarily in the A class RWD hoppers when we screw around. Currently we are working on some cars for the upcomming series. If you are interested in the ALMS series, either pick up a GT car and tune it to spec or grab the LMPC Porka. We are all needing the practice on Sebring getting ready for next Saturday's race. There is also the Porka series on 2O4F running on Saturday, the FMC Dodge Challenge race on Saturday, the FTCC race on Sunday, the Trans Am race on Monday, and primarily the Rolex race today. Build up a Rolex car and race with the guys tonight. You should have access to that part of the site here.

Yes welcome to the AAR website "seminole118". You can find us tonight racing HERE you are more than welcome to sign up and grab a car. The more you hang out and race the better your chances of getting accepted to the team. Also be sure to look over the requirements and if you need any help with one of them ask and ye shall receive. On a side note my grandfather was the head of maintenance for the entire campus at FSU for 15 years. I attend the Orange bowl in 1994 where I saw FSU beat Nebraska. GO NOLES!

Yes I am very interested in running in the ALMS series. Is sebring the next race in this series? What car would be the choice of the AAR team?

Depends really on what class your running. In the GT division the Ford and BMW are popular with the team but a lot of testing and work went into making all the cars very competitive over the 8 week season. If tuning is an issue then I would recommend the GTC or LMPC classes where there is only one car to choose from and everyone is running the same tune.

Ohh and yes Seabring is the first race of the season and starts next Sat.

that sounds good. I think I will stick with the GT's and run the BMW so I will have to sit down a learn a little about tuning. I know some but not much. I'm sure I can learn from some vets on here what is what when tuning a car.

AAR Oneshot and AAR Facepalmer are running the BMW, I would send a FR to both of them and then see if they want to share information. Can't hurt, right?

Its not that hard, just takes a little time. I go with the same basic set up then tweak it from there.

Ok so i am signed up'ed for the GT races and I'm using the BMW as well. If someone has the time can they look at my markings and see if thery are all correct. Hybrid, Thats a nice Hatch man :O

haha, um its not mine, just a signature someone made for me. Ive gotten into the JDM look on all Japanese cars.
