| Paging Don! Want to use your G25 or G27 with your Xbox 360? Now you can! http://www.slashgear.com/f-1-converter-lets-xbox-360-gamers-use-logitech-racing-wheels-26128502/ The only unknown is whether or not it will give you force feedback on Xbox games. That's a question I haven't found an answer to yet. |

| From what I'm reading it may not be available until next week. They've been working on developing firmware to properly support force feedback.
I also wonder how it's going to respond. Does the Xbox think you have a joystick connected? If so, it's going to try and apply some predictive mapping to wheel movements. In other words, when you push the joystick to the left quickly, Forza knows you want a small steering input. If you hold the joystick to one side, it knows you want the wheel turned hard, all the way to its stop. When the Xbox detects a wheel, input is linear, you turn the wheel x amount, the game turns the car's steering wheel the same amount.
I wonder if there's a setting in Forza to make joystick inputs linear? |

| hi there guys, i have just within the last half hour watched one of the latest forza 4 preview videos and nearly fell out my chair.. it looks to be everything GT5 should have been.
But i have the same issue everyone who posted in this thread has, Logitech are lazy assholes who wont design a wheel that works on xbox 360. then this contraption came along, and with some searching i came across across this forum and thread.
Has anyone picked up one of these xcm converters and tested it? i only plan on playing it with Forza 4 as it seems thats the only game that interests me on xbox, so does it work, does it work WELL, hows the force feedback, im a PS3 user and considered a similar device to use my controller on xbox but heard there was some slight lag with them, is this the case at all or with a G27.
is it worth getting one is basically what im asking as im hoping by now someone on here has one and has got around to using it. Hopefully u guys still check in on this thread and some one answers my long winded post. |

| After some research, I don't think I can trust the gadget to do what it says. I'll buy the native wheel for FM4, and use my G27 for iRacing.
BTW guys, I bought a new PC so I can run iRacing the right way in full graphics mode, and it is in most ways every bit as good graphically as GT5 or FM4. I went with a mid level PC , Gateway DX 3.10Ghz x 2, 6Gb RAM, 1Tb HD, and then added a GeForce GTX 550Ti video card just for good measure. iRacing now runs at a flawless 84fps, and is amazing. |
